Dear Sir,
On 24th May 2010, Gratuity Act Labor DEPT, GOI, issued Amendeding Gratuityuy ceiling order dated 01.01.2006, to maximum of10/= lacs to Bank Employees, who retire on or after 24th May 2010.. The employee who retire on 23rd May 2010 is eiligible for maximum of Rs.3.5 lacs only, whereas one retiring the next day will be paid 10/=lacs maximum.
Kindly do the needful to clear this disparity, in amounts. Those retiring during 01.01.2006 and , May 20101 are eligible only for Rs.3.5 lacs as per this Order.
