There are so many sh*t laced people (plunderers) these days that they dont even care for people belonging to armed forces and allied and do anything for money.
The issue here is of a Co-operative Society which sold some 2k Kanals of land(in 1k plots, shops etc) to many army families and allied (retired or serving) and govt employees too , which was not actually their own.The land was actually midway between the other registered land of whole colony area and was under dispute, as during the time society was formed and colony was designed or carved and divided into plots, there was no khasra numbers alotted to this land.
The land actually belonged to some retired army man himself who has died now and passe that land to his son who later sold it to different land dealers(or land mafia). The latter were fighing the case for custody of this land against society
Even knowing that the land is under dispute (or at least not fully legally registered by them as, other land) society termed it registered and sold that to many abovementioned families.
The society under its rules, imposed all the formalities, registration fee, house contruction pans as per society laws, etc and gave a document named PERPETUAL lease (with sign of Judge).Further as time went on, buying and reselling went on. Many houses were constructed and things went on.
Some months back society was served a notice by the local DC to submit a some small amount per kanal to acquire this land and sort the issue, but it didn't. It was given few months for this. Then DC again notified the same but with BIGGER land acquisation cost. They ofcourse did nothing.
NOW the High court has given order in favour of the land mafia, as infact the land is thiers and the society is the CULPRIT with corrupt people at the helm when they first time sold those plots. (some may even be dead)
Those morons didn't pay any heed to notice of DC too. NOW the DC is planning to denotify the said land , after the court order. The empty plots and shops etc (i.e where no contruction is there) have been fenced by the land mafia (under police presence)
NOW so many people esp. contructed property owneres with all valid documents and stuff , from society are apprehensive what will happen in future.
Legally speaking, i think someone has to pay the cost for land acquisation , either people themseleves or society (THE PLUNDERERS AND THE CULPRIT) be forced to pay for the same. and the current rates are sky rocketing.
Kindly explain what chances and what options the house/property owners have and what they should do against society or what they should do to settle the issue? Can the land mafia even demolish the properly constructed houses on planned plots?
