After filing an application U/s 156(3), police carried out investigation and recovered certain documents from a Bank (accused). In the status report, they stated that no offence is made but did not file the documents recovered from the Bank in the Court along with the status report. The documents are crucial as they clearly establish cheating. Matter is now listed for arguments on 156(3) but police is not providing copy of recovered documents.
My query is that how can a copy of those documents be taken from the police?
Can an application be filed with the MM to direct the police to provide copy of documents recovered to the complainant ?
Can anyone suggest any citation which can help in obtaining the copy of the documents.
