Divorce on mutual consent

Hello Sir,

Me and My wife filed a divorce case in Indore in Feb 2015 by Mutual Consent. We got the final date on Oct 2015. Is there anyway we can ask to prepond the date as I need to go abroad.

Sir,

I Hope this is the second motion date in October. See you can leave abroad and give a power of attorney for the same or you can move an application before the Supreme Court to waive that period of 6 months, because only SC under Article 142 can waive that period.

if any case if you want to postpone the second motion then you can ask the permission of the court for a later date which could be within eighteen months from the time of filing the divorce petition or stx months from the date of second motion

the presence of both the parties is usually a must during both the motions of mcd and very rarely it is done via video conference and things like that.
