Property of mentally ill person

Hi Sirs,

I am posting on behalf of my relative.

Her father has a house registered in his name. Now her father has become mentally ill. My relative and her mother and brothers, want to take ownership or sell the property. What is the procedure?

regards.

ALL THE LEGAL HEIRS OF HER FATHER HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS OVER THE PROPERTY AND THEY MAY KEEP IT WITH THEM.   IF THEY WANT TO SELL IT, THE FACT, THAT "THE ORIGINAL OWNER IS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL ILL HEALTH, SO ALL HIS LEGAL HEIRS ARE SELLING IT" IN THE SALE DEED.   IF THE BUYER IS NOT SATISFIED, OBTAIN A MEMDICAL CERTIFICATE FROM THE CONCERNED PHYSICIAN.
