Forged Signatures

I purchased ULIP linked life insurnace for a big reputed Life Insurance company ( multi national ) in 2007. Last week I went to chnage my address and gave a letter for the same. To my horror I was told that the signature in their system and on my request letter do not match.

On pressing them for a copy of the documents in their system I saw that me and my wife's signatures on the declaration page ( where term & conditions ) were forged.

I am very upset and want a full refund of my money, the insurnace company sent me the following response:

"Further, for policy number 1xxxxxxx0 & 12xxxxxx0, we regret the inconvenience caused to you in this regard however, we are unable to comment for the signatures done on the proposal form. Please find attached the proposal copy for both the policies as requested by you."

What notice should I send to them ? Can I as acitizen send them a legal notice or does it have to be via an attorney? Can someone help me draft a legal notice ?
