Fixed deposit by co-operative society

I am Sachin. I used to own a flat in the co-operative society which I recently sold.

My concern is, when first society maintenance bill was generated there was a line item in it saying "One Time Deduction FD Amount" and the amount taken out for it (from the balance amount that was pending towards builder which every flat owner paid as a three year maintenance while purchasing the flat) was Rs. 15,570.

Now, as I am not a part of that society, I am expecting to get this amount back. Could you please let me know whether I will be getting this amount back or not? If NO, could you please explain me why? Also, in that case please provide me the authenticated source of information (e.g. Government website) for my reference.
