Fir registered for nonbailable ofence bail rejected by court

1. FIR registered for non-bailable offence in SIL maika Kolkata, v live in Mumbai

2. Our bail application rejected by session court under cruelty etc.

3. They managed our advocate person over there, our details/explainations not mentioned in the court order

4.Most of the alleged scene of crime is in Mumbai.

Please suggest:

1. What should be the next step considering session court bail rejection.

2. Can High Court issue bail when non-bailable offence is registered as FIR

We are worried.

Regards,

Payal

Dear Payal

You have 3 options left:

1. File bail petition before the concern HC, or

2. File a petition in the same HC to quash the FIR

3. Wait till chargesheet is filed & apply again for bail before the sessions.

But for option-2, pl. check it with your lawyer who's conducting the case at sessions.
