Family Matter Pl Help

Mine is the contested case on divorce with the grounds of cruelty and desertion. Granted divorce during end of Jan 2011.

Filed RCR during 2007 and in spite of judge asked him to file his objection , he did not file the objection and dragged the matter for 8 months.

I have with drawn the RCR after seeing his intention of dragging and filed the divorce during May 2008. Again he dragged the matter and I completed my evidence during Dec 2009. But till Jan 2011 , his lawyer done cross on me only on three date and taken adjornment three times thro letter and re open my cross two times. By seeing my case history, requested judge for final judgement without completion of my cross , his evidence  cross , arguments . Judge given very short dates for all , but they have bothered to attend the court and finally posted the matter to judgement.

On the judgement day , they have submitted all false reason again thro application and asked judge to reopen my cross again. But after going thro the case history , judge rejected their plea and granted the divorce.

They said , they will challenge the matter at high court. How to prepare myself for high court . Pls advice. Already applied for Caveat.

there was no need of filing Caveat, since the divorce was already granted the court would have issued notice only.

for the time being keep all your documents intact and act as per the advice of your counsel, the strategy to be adopted is as according the documents including the proceedings recorded before the trial court.
