Family law rules

Hi, this is Manthan from Bangalore. I have been married and have a baby girl (2 yrs old) kid. we both husband and wife are doing private jobs.but, recently after the birth of my kid, my wife is forcing me to stay in Bangalore and not leting me to go to my native to stay with my parents or she is showing interest to move there. And my kid is staying with her parents. We both are managing our own expenses not dependent on each other. But if am moving out of Bangalore due to Job transfer or due to any other problems, shall i have to bear all the expenses of my wife and kid if she files any legal case against me. I am ready to bear the expenses if we both are moving to our native place bhubaneswar and stay together with our kid, which she is not interested. Now neither she is bringing back the kid nor spending anything at home or sharing anything with me after having a kid. Please do give advice to me on this. Manthan ssmathan@gmail.com

You may avoid jumping to thoughts of separation in married life on some petty matters.

Both spouse are expected to bear household expenses..

In case the other spouse approaches court then court does have the power to grant maintenance..
