If your wife wants to come back, her father cannot stop her as she is a major and entitled to take her own decision. No written agreement will solve the family disputes and mutual trust will only provides impetus to the estranged couple to cross over the periodical hurdles thrown by the turbulent life's voyage.

there is no such legal format which stands as evidence in future if she returns again but only you have to see that again she wont go back to her parents home and you have to build confidence on her
