Falsified criminal case

can criminal case(ipc 307) acquittal can become ias/ips?

sir, there was a police case was registered on my younger brother on september 2009 under the sections of 307,324,340. at that time he was civil service aspirant even attended upsc civil service interview on may 2009(he did not get service). He fought in local court and finally got aquitted on july 2014. now is he eligible to join if he gets selected? some people says that his career is over now.he is on the verge of dilemma. please clear sir

yes,once a person is acquitted, he can join IAS/IPS etc.

The candidate must not conceal anything in any form/affidavit and mention the facts and submit under proper acknowledgment.

sir, if there is any act or rule prevents candidates those who have any criminal record (even though they have acquitted) to join all India services like IAS/IPS?
