Hi All,
My brother filed his divorce case and got the decree in February last year from the district court. It took near about 4 years for case(tHer lawyer didn't appear in court for 40 dates in all).
Other party file for appeal in high court in march 2014, and it is taking too long for case to settle. Now they are doing same thing in High court, their lawyers don't appear in court on medical ground or other excuse.
My mother is alone and she needs someone company at home.
Now i got next date after 4 months. My question is can we expedite the case in high court? I tried searching the web for this but couldn't find anything relevant .
My lawyer is very helpful and told me that if i can show him some judgement/cases from supreme court, he will file the application for speedy trail.
Please someone help me in this matter.
