Existence of Co-Operative Societies in the Country:

Dear Members,
In India every State is having its own Co-Operative Societies act, likewise in Nagaland also we have this Assam Co-Operative Societies Act and Rules and followed in Nagaland. The said act is very clear that Co-Operative societies shall not be registered under the Act unless it is a registered society. The problems is that out of 100 95% of such Co-Operative society exist in papers only  and that too without first registering as a registered society they get registered as Co-Operative society. Since the State is already flooded with Co-Operative societies that exist in papers only that too without registering as a registered society first, the genuine societies are getting lots of difficulties in registering their Co-Operative society to work collectively for a genuine noble cause. What should be done in such circumstances? To get the registered society for Co-Operative society? Thanking you all in advance.
