Employee stock ownership plan (esop) clarification

Hi,

      I am in trouble, my boss promised me employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) but he never gave in papers.

He always postpones this issue by telling that it ESOP is in process from last 4 months.

I would like to know how long will it take to finalize ESOP.

If it takes long time then is there a way to create some kind of stamp paper and notarised so that i will have some proof. if this  is possible let me know the procedure to get it done.
