Early hearing application in supreme court

This is pertaining to one of my client. They matter is of civil nature related to property dispute with the State Govt. My client got the favorable verdict from the High Court in 2016, against which the State Govt file appeal in Supreme Court and got the Stay and issue notice to my client ex-party, as they have not filed the caveat in July 2017. After receiving notice my client appeared and filed the rejoinder to Registrar and Registrar passed the order to list the matter in court in December 2017. Since then the case is not listed for last 10 months, as the listing date keeps on shifting as it is computer generated and now it is showing to get listed in Feb 2019. My client is a senior citizen. What is the remedy to get the case listed soon and what is the procedure.
