Dvact maintenance arrears

Final order has come under my dvcat case in September 2020,it was going on since 2015, my interim maintenance was fixed in the year 2015, was getting it from husband every month, in the final order judge has raised my interim maintenance amount , so arrears amount is from the year 2015 to 2020, but as of now husband has not started paying the arrears amount,I hv filed for an execution application,& husband has filed an appeal in the session court, he doesn't want to clear the arrears amount and he wants to take an exparte stay on my execution application. Can anyone please tell me, will the sessions court grant an exparte stay on my execution application? Or will the sessions judge tell my husband to first clear the arrears amount & only then his appeal will be heard ?
