I HAVE A FLAT IN MUMBAI WHICH I HAVE GIVEN ON LEAVE AND LICENSE. RECENTLY IN A SPECIAL GENERAL BODY MEETING, THE SOCIETY PASSED A RESOLUTION TO CHARGE AS DONATION SUM EQUIVALENT TO ONE MONTH RENTAL EVERY 11 MONTHS.
CAN THE SOCIETY LEGALLY DO THIS?
UNDER WHICH BYE LAW IS THIS ALLOWED?
CAN I TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS?

society have authority to decide matter by majority in interest of society. Society bye law provide it details. You were also member of that society and had sign it while registering it.
