Domestic violence

I am married to a man for 3 years but I have been tortured physically and mentally since first week of my marriage life. Now finally have hearts to put full stop to this marriage life. I have evidence both audio n video of which I have been tortured... I have to file divorce against him... How to claim maintenance... First thing he is unemployed second I'm housewife and having one year old baby...

Hey, just because he is unemployed doesn't mean that you can't get maintenance. If he has any properties to his name also it is okay. Please prepare a domestic violence complaint well drafted and submit to your nearest protection officer. Divorce petition also can be filed under section 13(1)(a) of the Hindu Marriage Act.
