Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a son. We have a house in my mother's name, but she is no more living. i wanted to know whether my 2 sister's who are already married have rights on the house? Pls confirm.

If yes. to what extent they can claim the house.

Thanks in advance.

Rgrds,

Sunil

Yes if your mother died intestate than your sisters would have a equal right in the property so each of you are owner of 1/3rd share in the property.

All legal heirs right in this property. So first your sisters r make a requisition deed in your favour and registration this deed. Thenafter u enter / transfer this property in your name.

Dear Sirs,

I am married, and my sisters also married. Pls let me know if they are entitled for the property even if they are married and staying separate?

Rgrds,

Sunil
