divorce judgement

Dear All,

My wife filed a case for Divorce

I dont want to give her divorce, assuming that situations that she may change later & understands me better. I can wait for her till she comes back(it may take a life's time),  because i love her very much.

I thought i can see & talk to her, if she comes for first hearing, our second hearing is in october ' 10

My question:

Will the judge pass judgement for divorce if even one party(wife)

is interested, without concerning about the other party(myself)

Pls suggest me how to defend, before judgement  favours hers.

1. No, Judge will not pass a Order in her favor without giving other party an opportuity to put his side of say. 2. Councelling followed by mediation are some of the exercise undertaken by a family court, hence put your say of love and donot want to break family statements etc. and 3. A decree is passed only if ex partied and or she is able to proove her life and limb status against you with evidence / witness statements etc. so it is a long contest if one party does not want to agree for divorce. Rgds.
