When you have already applied for regularisation, and when your application is pending, it is not easy to demolish structure at a panchayat, without giving proper legal notice.
Immediately after rejection of the permission, or receiving notice from competent authority you can seek injunction.
Once the regularisation charges are paid, I have never come across any instance of such refusal.
As you are a teacher and retired these threats may be to frighten you and you need not worry. Contact any Advocate known to you or to your students and remain fearless, and have mental peace in your home , constructed with hard earned money after retirement. Once competent professional known to you gives assurance, then only you can live in peace. Even if we assure on line, the advises may not convince you.
