what is Limitation period U/S 166 M. V. Act

Presently there is no limitation period for filing a claim petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1994. 

Any claim relating to accidents that has taken place post 14.11.1994 can be reviewed by the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal. The same is stated in the case titled - New India Assurance Co. Ltd. v. C. Padma, (2003 (7) SCC 713)

However, it is advisable to file a claim at the earliest. 

Motor vehicle accident claim to be initiated at any time

Isn't limitation under Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019, under Section 166 of 6 months to file an application in Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (MACT) applicable?
