Defending my brother in a case in court

My brother has filed an application u/s 156(3) CrPC . We hired an advocate. But advocate is not working properly. So as per advocate act 1961 section 32 may I argue in this case in place of advocate ?? Second thing what application am I supposed to submit in court to defend my brother in court ??
