deceased spouse's loan.

I have been contacted by a patpedhi recovery officer of debts of my deceased wife which Was sanctioned in the year Oct 2006 without my knowledge. Now patpedhi recovery officer threathened me to pay off the deceased spouse's debts. kindly let me know whether I am responsible for to pay off this debts. They have contacted me this month I. e. after 11 yrs. Niether I have signed any loan documents nor they have contacted me after sanctioning such loan to my ex wife. kindly advise me. Thanks.
