Date change in marriage certificate

Dear Sir,

My parents were against me marrying a guy and were mentally presurrizing me to marry somewhere else. Due to this we went and did court marriage in Pune (where we were working). This was known to only close friends of mine and his parents. After 3 days of getting married in court my father agreed and we had a traditional marriage in UP (our native place) in the same month. Now I am afraid that if my relatives see our marriage certificate from previous ceremony, it will cause a lot of heart break which is unnecessary now. Can I get a new certificate made with the date of our traditional marriage and destroy the eralier one in Pune ? or can i get a new certificate from UP ?

1. No.
2. A Court Marriage Certificate issued by a competent Court is valid for lifetime and another Court cannot issue fresh one and it is against the Law.
Remedy:
Best now would be to sincerely apologies to own parents as now your marriage is done with same boy whom they were earlier opposing. Sincere and honest talks with once own parents solves later problems and parents do give in and understand after initial reluctance the way they married you to same boy is one such indicator.
