The fight/ quarrell on land dispute started between two parties. the first party members got injured and called the cop. opposite party absconded.
when the first party members sent for medical by cops, the other party also came to police station with fake allegations. now insisting to launch an FIR.
now, how to escape from cross FIR?
or do the parties need to make the settlement...?
please guide?
Generally if any complaint discloses cognizable offence, police is duty bound to do register FIR. If settlement is done, FIR can be avoided, provided both parties agreed to the terms.
