42 hrs duty seven days a week(7x6) without break

Senior formation directs me to deploy Group A Gazetted officers on duty in 8AM to 2 PM/ 2PM to 8 PM shifts for all 7 days of the week, without any off. Is it legal and should I oblige.

Please provide the related rules

There is a standard form of working and the working hours are as per the regulations and rules.

If you have been compelled to extract work from the officers in the manner what you have written here, you may ask your senior to pass n order to this effect in writing so that you can save your skin in future in case of any dispute that may arise due to this.

Gaz officer is not even eligible for overtime or compensatory off

That's the concern sir. When the officers are not entitled for financial or any other kind of compensation, they cannot be forced to perform 42 hrs a week.
