We have formed a Federation of Housing Societies. But all the Members ( deputed by the individual Societies ) are from the Open Category. Hence we are not able to fill the required vacancies in the 11 Member Managing Committee.
Can we co - opt Open Category Members from the General Body, till the time, the SC / ST / NT Members are available ? Will the DDR approve of the same if such a proposal is filed before him ?

If the law states that the reserved category reservation is to be made, then even in the absence of any candidate, the post will remain vacant and cannot be filled up by the general catgegory candidate

Is it necessary to write the names of the Proposer & the Seconder for each resolution passed in the Society Meeting, in the Minutes Register ?
Member Strength 9,48,276 and growing..
