Final bail after interim in case of triple talaq 498a

HI All,

triple talaq 498a filed by my wife in December 2021, then

got a high court stay then

chargesheet filled, then

After 2 years, I surrendered in court and got interim bail on June 15, 2023. On the same day, the case was sent to the mediation center immediately.

Now, after 5 dates at the mediation center, she is not attending, and her lawyer is asking for more dates to harass me. As she is based in uttar pradesh and I am Mumbai-based, I need to go to her place from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh.

If mediation fails,

So what are my chances of getting bail as I have been on interim bail for the last 70 days?

I am afraid: is it easy to get bail after interim bail of 70 days in triple talaq 498a cases?

You will get bail even if the mediation fails.

You can inform the mediator that since she is not cooperating he may send the failure report so that you can argue your case before the court to get enlarged on regular bail.
