reconciliation

what should I do at reconciliation.my advocate advised me to state all which is written in divorce petition. I don't and can't live with her.can judge force me to take wife home.please help. I am giving her 10k as maintenance.

No one can force you to take your wife with you if you're not ready for it, but in reconciliation process the judge or mediator will try his/her best to reunite you both. If mediation fails, the divorce case proceed and get decided on the basis of evidence of both parties.

Even if you stop paying 10k maintenance you need not take her home.  Jugde cannot order you to do so, directly but under DV act he can ask you to take her to your house and live.  Which is a absurd law.  This law should be repealed.  People have to stand up united and file a PIL in court to repeal this right to residence law under the DV ACT
