Property issue

I have very confused about various laws and I am sorry to say I am not good at understanding these stuff . But I seek help getting answer to my query. Say, my mother- in- law had a property in her name, what will be the scenario after her death Case 1: WILL is there and she transfers all on my father-in-laws name Case 2: WILL is not there In both the cases what would be my husbands share ? Members in the family after her death : my father in law , my sister in law , myself and my husband ( we 4 )

if your mil writes a will then the property would devolve on the beneficiaries name on whom the will is written.

if your mil dies intestate then the property will devolve in equal shares between her husband and children
