Transfer of ancesstoral property

My Father (Karta of HUF) has an ancesstoral property received through family settlement (by a court decree) amongst his brothers. He wants to transfer the said property (without the hassle of any lengthy court proceeding for a decree like before for a family settlement) in my mothers name. I request the learned people on this forum to kindly help us & advise that how this tranfer can be done ? We belong to Meerut (U.P. West). Thanks & best regards.

The property can be transferred by way of a settlement deed excuted in favour of your mother.

Thanks for your advise Mr. Ranganathan Sir. By settlement deed you mean to execute a Relinquishment deed & get it registered in the court ? Kindly reply. Thanks & best regards
