Error in index 2

Hi,

I had recently purchased a flat in mumbai. However, on receiving the documents i realised that in the index 2 my pan card number has been entered wrongly (seems like a typo error). The pan card number in the registration agreement is correct and the registration documents also have a xerox copy of my pan card.

So pan card no is wrong only in index 2. What should i do in this case?? Ignore it or need to get it rectified and incase if need to rectify what is the procedure??

wrongful entry of PAN CArd no. does not seems important in the INDEX II register. but you can correct it by merely filing an application on affidavit to the authority issuing and maintaining INDEX II Register.
