Dear Friends
I am working with an ITES company having their operations in all parts of India. They wish to have some of their employees on third party rolls. Do they need to get the License under the Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act before they can appoint Contract employees. In case they appoint franchisee an outsource their work, do they still need to have the License?.
Looking forward to posiive and prompt reply from your side.
Wish you all a Very Happy weekend.
Thanks & Regards
Himanshu Sharma
It is better to register under the CLRA Ac as a Principal Employer in case you are employing 20 or more men through the contractors. CLRA Act shall apply to every establishment where 20 or more persons are employed as contract labourers.
