I am a 27 year married woman now. I was married 10 years back at the age of 18 approx while my husband is 10 years older than me. Being 18 years old I was not so much aware of marriage. So unable to decide what I should do, I was just following my parent’s decision. Just after marriage my husband and his family started to harass me mentally and physically. I continually started to lose my love for my husband and for his family. They started to restrict my further study after HS. But going against them I completed my graduated degree and got a job. In this stage I had engaged in an extra marital affair with one of my co worker and got pregnant by him. After knowing my pregnancy he ran away. In those 10 years my husband stays with me, while regular mental and physical fighting continued. Now my child is 2 years old. My husband still doesn’t know about the child’s father. But he assumes something on his mind. If he knows he will start to torcher the boy also. I have already talked to him and he is not willing to give me divorce on the ground of the child (though my income is another factor for him as well). I am working on an MNC company and I could manage my child myself. Please can you tell me how could I get divorce?
