We run a consulting firm advising companies on profitability and also start-up companies.
A start-up company took our advise for over 9 months and we spent many days and man-hours advising them on the venture . Finally after over 9 months they dropped the idea of going ahead with the venture and demand us a refund of our consulting fee. We had signed an agreement detailing our terms which specify our role in a purely advisorial capacity and a non-deisclosure agreement. Ours is a partnership firm. Please advise course of action as we are receiving threats from them. We had worked to the best of our abilities and supported them. They are asking for a refund due to their inability to go-ahead with the venture.
We are based at Chennai , and can share further info on request.
