Consent for redevelopment

Dear All,

Our building is undergoing the process of redevelopment. Our new landlord is also a developer is planning to construct. He has obtained around 70% consent. but very recently we have received a notice from old landlord that he has filed a case against him for non payment of dues and hence revoking conveyance deed.

There are certain tenants who has not given consent as yet and are planning to go to court for consent term. Is there any chance for those who has given consent to challenge their consent in court on the basis of this notice that they would want to revoke their consent as the landlord has not cleared his due as yet.

Or is there any possibility that along with those going to court for consent term others can also join them for consent term even after signing consent term. We are not against redevelopment but do not want to suffer as well in the name of redevelopment

Please guide us....

Regards,

Zeba
