Confusion between probationery and offiating service
I am working as Assistant engineer on probation at Uttarakhand jal vidyut nigam. I have confusion with leave rules written in Uttarakhand government's financial handbook volume 2 part 3 cahpter XV about leaves earned by temporary and officiating services. Does this chapter applies to me being on probation???
Thank you Mr. Kumar for reply...
The definition of ofiiciating in the rule book is given as below
(19) OfficiateA government servant officiates in a post when he performs the duties of a post on which another person holds a lien. The Government may, if they think fit, appoint a government servant to officiate in a vacant post on which no other government servant holds a lien.
So it would be a great help if you could interpret this and tell wether officiate applies to probation
Thanks in advance
