compounding section 380

The accused is charged under section 380 of IPC. The said accused had purchased a mobile phone from a shop and when the same got spoilt he had given it for repairing to the same shop, but the shop owner did not repair the said mobile phone and as a result in anger the said accused picked up another mobile phone from the said shop. Can this offence be compounded?

It is non cognizable offence.  I think it is compoundable.
