compnay took my passport for job security and they are not giving me back

i joined in a company and they asked me to submit original passport for security purpose(2years). so i submitted passport to them.they gave me acknowledgemnt form in that they stated that mr xxx is accptng terms and cnditions.but in that paper no terms and conditions
are there simply only one line is there.they said me like in offerletter u will get all the things so i worked for 9 days i didnt get any offer letter only i got acknowledgement .if i ask for offer letter manger is saying that u should trust the company later u will get every thing. That company is working for night shifts so i worked for 2 weeks later my health got spoiled that i got ethical feaver , dehydration, and i could not able to wake up for 3 days ... so i informed to my manager that i cant work any more in the call. after one week i went to him and explained my problem that i cant continue to work because my health is not supporting me. so he refused to give my passport and he said me to come after 1 year to collect passport..after that i came back to home.

again i called to him i asked that i wnt my passport immediatly because if u misuse my passport within this year i will become victim.then he said that as per company norms u have to pay 30000rps for ur training. but i went only for 9 days in that 9 days i did not learnt any thing simply i was reading pdfs for one week .. so i said to him that i will go legally.. he is saying that u can proceed..
plz suggest me what i need to do now..

The employee should take his/her life, employment, employability seriously.

If there was NO training then what kind of expense are incurred on training?

The original documents of employee can not be held as collatral..

While posting such queries employee should post basic information!

What is this establishment; GOvt, private, Commercial, Industrial?

What is its nature of business say; IT, ITeS?

How many persons are employed in it?

What is your designation and nature of duties?

How many persons report to you?

Do you have any power to sanction leave/increment/appoint/terminate/appraise etc etc ?

You are in which state? Since how many months you are working? Are you under probation period or your service is confirmed in writing?

 

Do standing orders (model/certified) apply to establishment and your designation?

What is notice period as per appointment letter/offer letter and what was notice period tendered by you?

Was ever any stinker, memo, show cause notice on any misconduct issued to you?

Does the establishment have its appraisal system? Do you have copy of signed appraisal forms, matrix, KRA’s, performance date? How was your performance?

Are you a member of employee’s/trade unions?

Has the establishment issued/supplied, offer letter, appointment letter, salary slips of all months, PF number and a/c slips of all years, ESIC card, correct FnF statement, Form 16 as per correct FnF statement, acknowledgment and acceptance of notice of resignation/final resignation, acknowledgment of handover of charge, NOC/NDC……………?

I havworkd for 9 daya that to traing ..but my health gone worse... Due to night shifts.. They did nt gave offrletter,joing lettr anything simply they took my passport and gave acknwldgemnt.. I persnally met my manger and explaind my positn he is sayng that come aftr one year... Otherwise pay 30k for 9 days traing. Idnt have mony but simply i said i will go legally... But i dnt know what to do know.. I workd as bussns developmnt manager(sales) for 9 days..... Except acknowldgemnt he didnt gave me any thing..in the acknwldgmnt he mentiond that i accptd terms and cnditions and he took sign and gave me original he took xerox qnd my passport.. Now he is not giving...
