Complicated land deal

Hello!

In a complicated land deal, a land under litigation was sold to us without our knowledge.
Our builder- A , The person he bought land from - B, Original Power holder - C, Original Land owner - D.

A, sold us the land with the house and we bought it using loan facility from a reputed organization. The legal opinions were passed and we were granted the loan. Now suddenly C claims that he is the original power of attorney holder given to him by D and that A has been cheated by B (who claims to be legal heir of D and that D has given a deed of settlement to B for that land). A case is already pending in the court filed by D telling that B is not the heir of D.

In this scenario, A is talking for compromise with C telling us that he will get the original power of attorney from D after cancelling the power of C and then this sale would be valid. Just that his power of attorney will be registered at a date later than the one on which we have registered our sale deed.

We are very confused about this.. Will this be valid.. ?

Please help us in this issue.
