Dear Sir, we elected managing committe of a co operative housing society in gujarat and our tenure is ending now. In the AGMm there was a suggetion came in forward that, all outgoing committe members must file an affidavet confirming and listing out what are the docs they are signed. in case any action or docs signed by them cause loss to the society they managing committe members will be personally responsible for the same. 1) which act is applicable for Co operative housing society 2) is there any such provision or rule in gujarat like on in maharashtra M bond 3) in case affidavet to filed by outgoing member what are lines or words importenatly included? in case if the member has signed any docs and not listed in teh affidavet and if the incoming managing committe file a case against ex members on malafide ground how a legal protection can be availed to ex members. Ex members agrees that in case any wrong doing or against the intrest of the soc we are responsible. but the incoming members must not use it on malafide matter pls help rgds M.R K
