Approach bank ombudsman team and submit the no due certificate there and acknowledge it.

You may issue a notice to ICICI Bank (which you can also send by putting title as NOTICE) and demand that despite the issuance of NOC why your name has not been removed from list of delinquent/defaulter customers maintained by ICICI bank with CIBIL and to supply the reason in writing within 7 days and clean your credit history and supply clean CIBIL report within 7 days or you shall be constrained to approach court of law, regulators, print and electronic media  etc at the cost and consequences of the bank….

You can also lodge complaint with:

Smt. Uma Subramaniam
Chief General Manager -in-Charge
Department of Non-Banking Supervision
Central Office
Centre I, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade
Mumbai-400 005.

Phone: 022-22153350

Email id: cgmicdnbsco@rbi.org.in

If still the bank does not provide relief you may issue legal notice and lodge complaint with DCDRF.

In case of settlement the CC companies write off the balance amount and posts the entry as “Written Off’. This is repelling for lenders.

Dear sir,

I recived mail from icici bank please advise me

Dear Sir,

We refer to our earlier e-mail of May 2, 2013 regarding your ICICI Bank Credit Card 4477 XXXX XXXX 3006.

We have verified your Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL) report and found that the status is updated as "Settled" towards your aforementioned credit card.

To get the status changed from "Settled" to "Normal", we request you to make the payment of the amount of Rs. 30,085.78, which was waived off after the settlement of your credit card for Rs. 30,000.00.

Please write to us, once the payment of Rs. 30,085.78 is made towards your ICICI Bank Credit Card 4477 XXXX XXXX 3006, to enable us to assist you further, regarding removal of "Settled" status from Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL).

We affirm that ICICI Bank at all times acts with diligence, in good faith and in no manner prejudicial to the interests of its customers.

Apparently you have settled the matter without agitating on deficiencies of the bank in writing.

Bank is demanding the price/money lost by it.

Without wasting time you may approach a lawyer specializing in consumer complaints.

BO may not be right choice.

You may proceed as deemed fit at your end.
