It may kindly noted by the advocate colleagues who are filing NI cases that from 1st April,2012 onwards, the cheques validity is changed from 6 months to 3 months. It is applicable to Cheques/Drafts/Pay Orders/Banker’s Cheques. Concerned notification of the RBI is enclosed herewith. This is for information.
