a bank has received a cheque dated 30/11/2012 on 28/02/2012 & cheque dated 28/02/2013 is received on 30/05/2013 ... what shall be bank status on both incidents? whether a bank shall honor / reject both cases considering RBI recent guidelines on 3 months validity of a cheque.

The RBI notification came into effect from 01.04.2012. So, chqs presented to the bank after 3 months of issue dt will be returned.
