Changes in sale agreement

Sir

I purchased property in new Mumbai and sale agreement is registered by filling necessary stamp duty..in agreement payment details made to builder is mentioned with cheque no.now there is changes In cheque amount made to builder however aggrement value is same and there is no any kind of change. So I want to ask weather this change need to reflect in aggrement and how it can be done.or is there any issue in future if not change made.
