Cat case

Thank you very much for your valuable reply for my query raised in Lawyer's Club website. I had appeared UPSC interview for two posts and got 65 marks(3rd rank). The 2nd rank holder submitted false experience certificate for his claim. I filled a case in CAT and prayed to cancel the 2nd candidate's appointment and requested to appoint me. Concern Department accepted my point and not appointed the 2nd candidate. The case filed in February-2014 and still going on due to my lawyer who is not attended the hearing frequently. So, I want to appear directly as PARTY IN PERSON and also I want to amend the Relief as APPOINTMENT WITH NOTIONAL PAY WITH EFFECT From February-2014. My layer told that it is not possible to amend in the relief of CAT OA and I have to file a new case for Notional Pay?. Is it right or wrong?. please help me to move my case in correct direction, please.
