Cancellation of sale of property by impersonation

Sir,

I have heard that in case a sale of property is done through impersonation by creation of fake Identity card the Sub Registrar Office can cancel the sale deed after investigation. Is this true for State of Tamil Nadu and Chennai in particular? in case the person who has grabbed the land by fradulent means has put a civil suit to keep the land under his illegal control can the Sub Registrar Office Still cancel the Sale Deed?

We have all the proof that the land belongs to us

Lodge a complaint with subregistrar for proceedings under s82&83 of registration act and pray for cancellation of the fraudulent sale deed. Enclose all documents in proof. Should be resolved within 2 moths
