My father had purcahsed a plot under Awas Vikas (Uttar Pradesh) Yogna. He expired recently and has given this house to me through his Will. However I myself have purcahsed a house under Awas Vikas Yogna in the same city. So will it be illegal for me to own two houses together? The Awas Vikas employees are telling me that one person can have only one plot under the Awas Vikas scheme. But since I got one of the properties through Will, I believe there should be a provision for it. Any advice please.
